A Tier 1 Advanced PowerStrip saves energy by reducing the amount of standby power & vampire current wasted by home AV systems and Desktop PC systems.
A Tier 1 APS operates on a simple master/switched basis. If the TV or PC is on, then peripheral devices are powered on. If the TV or PC is switched off, then the peripheral devices are automatically switched off, thereby reducing power waste.

How It Works
A sensor monitors the flow of electricity to the Control Outlet and when there is a significant drop, it switches off the power to the Switched Outlets.
So when your control device/appliance goes into sleep mode or you shut it off, the Smart Strip saves energy and money!
